Guided snowshoe tour

5fingers viewing platform and World Heritage spiral

The guided snowshoe tour on Dachstein Krippenstein to 5fingers and World Heritage spiral takes place in the periode of December to March (see schedule) and on request. 

  • Dates: see schedule

  • Time: 10:00 a,

  • Meeting point: valley station cable car

  • Duration: until approx. 1:00 p.m.

  • Walking time: ~1 hour and 50 min, total duration of the tour ~90 min, afterwards free time

  • Difficulty: easy hike

  • The tour also takes place in bad weather conditions.

Note: You get your snow shoes at the ski rental shop which is located in the valley station.

  • backpack, thermos jug with hot drink, snack

  • warm clothing: ski underwear, knee socks, fleece sweater, softshell jacket, warm jacket (preferable Goretex), warm outdoor trousers, bonnet, gloves, sunglasses and cream
