On the idyllically located Almboden in front of the  Gjaid-Alm at 1,738 m, you can glide through the snow on the small but fine cross-country ski tracks with your cross-country skis and enjoy the snowy winter scenery on the Dachsteinplateau at leisure. 

The sunny cross-country ski track which is by and large protected from the wind, scores with the highest level of reliable snow conditions, offering lovers of classic and skating pure winter enjoyment even when nothing goes down in the valley anymore.
