The mountain and cave world at Dachstein Krippenstein are daily open in the summer season from 01.05.2025 until 02.11.2025. First ascent at 8:40 am.

When the sun makes a break, then visit the charming underworld of ice and rock. The Dachstein Krippenstein cable cars and Dachstein world of caves are open daily - even at bad weather!

The Koppenbrüller Cave is located in the valley on the outskirts of Obertraun. A hiking trail along the Traun leads you to the cave entrance.
Guided tours take place on an ongoing basis. Please register for a guided tour at the cash desk / cave entrance
Caves can only be visited with you experienced cave guides.
Please wear a protective mask during your guided cave tour.

PLEASE NOTE! Registration for the cave tour is required for individuals and groups! Determining of the tour time is only possible for special tours with a single guide surcharge.
