Winter operation 2024/2025*:

Closed (winter preparation): bis 20.12.2024
Open (summer operation): 21.12.2024 - 30.03.2025

Summer operation 2025:

Closed (summer preparation): 31.03. - 30.04.2024
Open (summer operation): 01.05. - 02.11.2025

Note: The caves (Dachstein Giant Ice Cave, Mammut Cave, Koppenbrüller cave) are closed in winter. The Dachstein Giant Ice Cave will reopen from 01.05.2025 - summer operation »

Winter season 2024/2025

Opening times winter

Dachstein Krippenstein is in the winter season 2024/2025* daily open from 21 December 2024 right through until 30 March 2025.

Daily operating hours winter:

section 1: from 8:30 am to 4:50 pm
section 2: from 8:40 am to 4:40 pm
section 3: from 8:50 am to 4:30 pm

Cable cars journey every 15 minutes!

Lift facilities: open from 9 am to 4 pm
Pistes closed: from 5. pm to 8:30 am**

Note: Partial operation in the off-season.

Open lifts & pistes

NOTE: *Skiing at Dachstein Krippenstein in suitable snow conditions. **Pistes closed: No safety measures against possible risks are taken during this period risk of injuries caused by snow smoothers - track grooves, winch ropes, bare cables and hoses of snow-guns.

Summer season 2025

Opening times summer

The mountain and cave world at Dachstein Krippenstein are daily open in the summer season from 01.05.2025 until 02.11.2025. First ascent at 8:40 am.

Operating times summer 2025:

01.05. - 02.11.2025: cable car section 1+2* + Giant Ice Cave
10.05. - 02.11.2025: Mammut Cave
07.06. - 02.11.2025: cable car section 3
01.05. - 28.09.2025: Koppenbrüller Cave
